In its sixth annual (2002) “World’s Best Awards”, the readers of Travel & Leisure Magazine voted Santa Fe, New Mexico the fifth most popular travel destination in America and Canada. In previous years, Santa Fe was rated 13 th in 1998 and 9 th in 1997. The Reader’s Poll is judged on sights, culture, restaurants, people, shopping and value.
